Night of the Doctor just put one really large change in both the Doctor Who and Sonic Screwdriver datasets. This is why I told Jürgen that absolutely nothing could be done until after all the episodes and minisodes had been televised. The sonic dataset is nearing 900 uses over the course of 50 years. Finally, with the help of d3 mentor, I got the Sonic Use Chart functioning. Here is a screen image of the chart. The fully functioning chart can be found by clicking the image. It gives a graphic view of just how lopsided the usage is between the classic run and the new series.

For decades it's been said that the sonic screwdriver is harmless. And for decades, that was the case. But it appears that could be changing. Sure, it's been used to threaten people in the past, but it's always been an indirect threat. The Fourth Doctor,for instances, threaten to detonate the explosives he had placed on Davros' travel machine.

Finally got around to putting this network in a post, the Physical Sciences vs. Acoustic Sciences. It's not in Gephi cause I haven't had time to start learning it yet. BUt I need to move into the open-source programs now that I no longer work at CMU. But this will work for now.
